Steel Fabrication & Erection
Structural steelwork fabricated to drawings and erected on site for industrial and commercial buildings.

Overview
Alongside our piling and shoring work, we fabricate and erect structural steel. Steel members are fabricated to the approved drawings — cut, drilled and welded — then given surface preparation and protective coatings before they are delivered to site.
On site, our erection crews lift the steelwork into place with cranes, then bolt, align and plumb the frame so it is ready for roofing, cladding and the follow-on trades.
Delivering both the foundations and the steel frame means fewer interfaces to manage and a single team responsible for the structure from the ground up.
Typical applications
- Warehouses and logistics buildings
- Factories and industrial plants
- Commercial and retail buildings
- Mezzanine floors, platforms and roof structures
- Steel frames for solar canopies and carports
Our process
Review the drawings
We review the structural drawings and specifications and agree the fabrication and erection programme.
Fabricate the steelwork
Members are cut, drilled, welded and assembled to the approved drawings, with checks on dimensions and welds.
Prepare and coat
Steelwork is cleaned and given its protective coating system before it leaves for site.
Deliver and erect
Members are delivered in sequence and lifted into position by our erection crews.
Align, bolt and hand over
The frame is aligned, plumbed and fully bolted, then handed over for roofing and cladding.

Frequently asked questions
What types of steel structures do you build?
We fabricate and erect structural steel for warehouses, factories, commercial buildings, portal frames, mezzanines, platforms and roof structures.
Can you provide both the piling and the steel structure?
Yes. We can deliver the foundations and the structural steel frame for the same project, which reduces the number of contractors and interfaces you need to manage.
What do you need to quote for steel fabrication?
Structural drawings and specifications, the site location and your programme. If drawings are not ready yet, contact us to discuss the project.
